Ahh, you just know a quality battery pack when you have it in your hand. These 18650 batteries from Xain-USA fit the bill. I cut away the shrink wrap to reveal two quality +INR 18650 3.7V 2200mAh batteries. The protection circuitry is included with these as well.You can also see the high quality nickel strips connected to the PCB. Even the 2 wire conductors have a quality feel. The wax paper used is top of the line too. No corners were cut that I can see.The battery pack came charged at 3.87V.I will happily use these for various projects that require 3.7V lithium cells.100% recommended!
I have three strings of solar powered lights. The first was purchased about 4 years ago and it no longer stays lit as long as the others. It contains two 3.7V 1800mAh batteries wired in parallel. The Xain-USA battery pack looked like a good replacement with a higher capacity. It has two 2200mAh batteries in parallel. It also has protection circuitry that was missing with the existing batteries. There is plenty of space inside the enclosure and I attached the new battery pack with double sided foam tape. I cut off the connector and soldered the leads directly to the circuit board.With the new battery pack, the lights now stay on several hours longer and I can keep using the existing lights for hopefully several more years. I will need to replace the other batteries soon also. The Xain-USA battery pack looks like a good choice.
This is my review of Xain-USA's Rechargeable Battery PackI picked this up for a motion detector I am constructing. My choice for this particular battery pack was based on the fact that the output voltage met my requirements, plus I have had experience with this battery pack before and found them to be long-lasting and reliable.It comes with a 2-pin female connector that is standard on most circuit boards, so no problems there. Plus, I performed a stress test, and the battery pack delivered consistent output across a standard power curve… Recharging took about 2 hours.Note on charging:Lithium-ion batteries do not have a memory effect; however, it is important to give them a full charge before their first use. After that initial charge, you are set to go.Overall, a good choice, for a variety of electronic needs.
I got a new solar camera that wan failing to charge. This 3.7v battery has the same female 2-pin connector, that is, while the plastic connector on this battery fits inside the plastic connector on my camera, the camera has the extending “male” probes within its connector, and this battery's connector has the matching receiving “female” receptacles. Well, i found the terminology possibly a little confusing, but the connector is standard. And the two-wire polarity of positive and negative is standard.
I bought this battery pack to replace the worn out batteries in my solar security light. After disassembly these are labeled 2,200mah 18650 batteries. I was able to charge the individual batteries in an external charger. Once fully charged I installed the batteries into my solar powered security light. They powered my security light throughout the night.
